Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is IV vitamin therapy covered by my insurance?

Our office does not bill health insurance for treatments provided. We consider IV vitamin therapy an elective procedure, therefore it is an out-of-pocket expense. Our office accepts cash and all major credit cards, ask us about our packages!

  • Does IV vitamin therapy hurt?

We utilize the smallest sterile intravenous (IV) catheter possible when providing treatment, minimizing pain. Most patients would compare the placement of the IV catheter to getting their blood drawn.

  • Does everyone qualify for IV vitamin therapy?

If you are dealing with any moderate to severe medical condition(s), are pregnant, or have any other concerning medical issue(s), you should speak with your primary care provider prior to considering elective IV vitamin therapy.

  • What kind of results can I expect from an IV treatment?

Our clients seek out IV vitamin therapy for a number of reasons and therefore every experience varies. Different patients see different benefits from their IV vitamin therapy treatment. Most patients who get IV vitamin treatment say their energy levels and overall sense of wellbeing increase afterwards.

  • How often can someone get IV vitamin therapy?

We recommend that IV vitamin therapy be administered on an “as needed” basis. If you have specific questions about your condition and how it could benefit from IV vitamin therapy or the recommended treatment frequency, we encourage you to ask your primary care provider. If you have further questions, please refer to our staff and we will assist you the best we can.

  • How long does IV vitamin therapy take?

Treatment time depends on a number of factors. Clients with smaller veins may take longer, whereas clients with larger veins may complete their treatment more quickly. We would suggest planning on being with us for approximately one hour for your treatment. Certain IV therapies like the NAD+ do require 2-4 hours for administration. If you are only coming in for a booster shot, like B12, those visits can be done relatively quickly, usually between 20 and 30 minutes.
